Residential Series #1: Gather House

Homes are frameworks for living—shaped by time, grounded in landscape, and increasingly asked to do more. In a post-pandemic world, domestic space must support living, working, and gathering, often simultaneously.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing a selection of residential projects that explore how architecture can evolve with its inhabitants, adapting to shifting patterns of life while strengthening connections to place.

Designed in collaboration with Rojkind Arquitectos, Gather House treats the home as a living metaphor for time. A sculpted, faceted roof transforms the familiar pitched form into a dynamic geometry that reflects past, present, and future.

Interlocking rooflines organize distinct yet connected zones anchored by generous social spaces. Terraces, gardens, and double-height gathering rooms extend activity into the landscape.

Materiality reinforces the concept: stone seating and landscaping ground the house in permanence, while wood and glass express openness and adaptability. Cantilevered volumes signal readiness for the future.

Gather House proposes a model for evolving domestic life—architecture that holds memory while embracing change.
